About Client Point Promotions

Set up Client Point Promotions to reward clients with points for actions such as booking online or referring another client. Promotions can be configured to run within a specific date range or to start on a specific date with no end date.

How many promotions can be active at one time?

You can run multiple promotions at the same time, including promotions with overlapping date ranges.

Points earned from one promotion do not impact points earned from another. Each promotion calculates and awards points independently, and all earned points are added to the client’s total.

How do I define points settings, including the points-to-currency ratio?

Points settings, including the points-to-currency ratio, are configured in the Points/Rewards Settings section of Business Preferences.

How do I print points values on receipts?

You can enable the following receipt options in the Register section of Business Preferences:

  • Print total available points and value on receipts
  • Print points earned within a transaction on receipts

Can I exclude a service from being points-eligible?

Yes. In the Service definition, enable the Exclude from all point promotions option.

Can I exclude a client from being points-eligible?

Yes. In the Client profile, enable the Exclude this client from receiving points option.
