Viewing Payroll Period Details
For each employee, some or all of this information will appear, depending on your payroll settings:
- The employee's total payout for this pay period
- Employee's regular and overtime hours
- Employee's service and retail commissions; service commission includes commission on no-show and cancellation fees, though these do not appear as separate line items.
- Employee's tips collected
- Employee's average rate based on the Work Activities and hours worked. Note that if an employee received different rates for different Work Activities due to Work Activity overrides, then Meevo adds up the total payout to the employee and divides that by the total hours worked, giving you the employee's average rate.
What do the payroll indicators mean?
Each status displays a number that represents the number of employees currently in that state.
The statuses from left-to-right are:
- Completed: When green, payroll calculations are up-to-date and complete.
- Processing: When gray, payroll recalculations are currently being processed.
- Conflict: The yellow status means that at least one payroll setting that affects an employee's payroll has changed since the last calculation. In such cases, you might manually recalculate the payroll to reconcile the differences.
- Error: The red status occurs if a recalculation fails after three attempts.
- Terminated: This indicates how many employees have been terminated during that payroll period.
