Configuring Services an Employee Can Perform

Define the which services this employee can perform, along with their price levels and service steps.

Tip: In addition to the Services tab, you can also configure which services an employee can perform via the Employees tab in a Service definition. Any changes you make on either screen will be reflected in the other screen.

There is a Business Preferences setting that determines which services appear in the Appointment Editor drop-down: all services, or only services that the employee or resource are configured to perform.

  1. Locate and select the employee profile.
  2. Select the Services tab.
  3. Locate the services using the filters at the top of the screen:

Note: Alternatively, you can scroll through the list using the page navigation buttons.

  1. Service Category: Filters services by selected category.
  2. Can Perform: Filter by services that the employee can or cannot perform.
    1. Show All: Displays all services, regardless of whether or not the employee is configured to perform them.
    2. Yes: Displays all services that this employee is configured to perform.
    3. No: Displays all services that this employee is not configured to perform.
  3. Select Apply to apply the filters. A list of all services appears in alphabetical order, by service code.
  4.  Select Edit.
  5. Select the box to the left of each service to enable them.
  6. For each service, you have the option of overriding the service's default Price (by Price Level) and Servicing step, which were configured in the service's maintenance form. This allows you to define employee-specific pricing.
  7. Select the service name to reveal the service details. You can select Expand All [+] in the upper-right corner of the list to expand all of the listed services.

Note: The override icon appears beside any field that deviates from the default setting. Select that icon to revert the field back to its default value. The disabled icon means another option needs to be enabled elsewhere at a higher level in Meevo for the current option to take effect.
