To refund a transaction

For details on how Meevo handles refunds for each particular item, see our topic on Refunding Items through the Register.

  1. Locate the transaction in Transaction Editor.
  2. In the row of the transaction, select the register icon > Refund.
  3. The register opens with the related items in the Smart Receipt.
  4. Select Finalize Sale/Payment.
  5. Enter a Refund Reason.
  6. Select a Payment Type to provide the refund to the client.
  7. Select Finalize Sale once more to complete the transaction.
  8. Provide a receipt, if necessary.
  9. Note that refunded transactions in Transaction Editor appear with a red bar across the top for quick identification when scrolling through transactions.
