To refund a transaction
For details on how Meevo handles refunds for each particular item, see our topic on Refunding Items through the Register.
- Locate the transaction in Transaction Editor.
- In the row of the transaction, select the register icon > Refund.
- The register opens with the related items in the Smart Receipt.
- Select Finalize Sale/Payment.
- Enter a Refund Reason.
- Select a Payment Type to provide the refund to the client.
- Select Finalize Sale once more to complete the transaction.
- Provide a receipt, if necessary.
- Note that refunded transactions in Transaction Editor appear with a red bar across the top for quick identification when scrolling through transactions.
