Locating a Transaction

Using the standard filters

The Transaction Editor automatically loads with the current day's transactions. Use the filters to change your search:

  1. Enter a Transaction Number: Scan the receipt barcode or manually enter a number (or part of the transaction number) to search for a specific transaction. 
  2. Show Transactions between: Select the date and time ranges to search between.
  3. Select Apply.

Using advanced filters

  1. Select the Advanced Filter.
  2. In the Filters window:
    1. Client: Filter by the active client whose transactions you wish to view.
    2. Employee: Filter by the employee credited with the sale.
    3. Drawer: Filter by the drawer that was used to complete the transaction.
    4. Payment Type: Filter by the Payment Type that was used to complete the transaction.
    5. Last 4 digits of credit card number: Filter by the last 4 digits of the credit card that was used in the transaction.
    6. Created by: Filter by the employee who executed the transaction.
    7. Declined refund transactions: This filter limits results to refunds that were processed through MeevoPay; use this filter to help locate any declined refunds. See our MeevoPay FAQs for guidance on handling these transactions.
    8. Edited Transactions: Filter by transactions that were edited (that is, any transaction that was changed in Transaction Editor).
    9. Completed, Refunded, Voided: Returns transactions of the selected statuses. Cannot be combined with the On Hold selection.
    10. On Hold: Returns all on-hold transactions. Cannot be combined with Completed, Refunded, or Voided options. Enable it to easily locate and print On-Hold Receipts.
    11. Archived On Hold: Returns Archived On-Hold transactions (On-Hold transactions that were archived since the last release). This option is available only when On Hold is enabled as well. Enable this option to easily locate and print Archived On-Hold receipts.
  3. Select Apply to view results.
