About the Report Scheduler

Use Report Scheduler to create and manage a list of scheduled reports. You'll define a Meevo report (including its setup options), a run frequency and schedule for the selected report, and a list of one or more recipients who will receive the generated report. Recipients can view these cloud-hosted reports via links that are sent through email or text message notifications.

To get to the Report Scheduler, type reportscheduler into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Report Scheduler.

From which email address does Meevo send these notifications?

When emailing a report, Meevo uses the From email address you configured in Notification Settings. If the person receiving the email selects Reply, the Reply to address in Notification Settings is used.

Are all reports available for scheduling?

Currently not all Meevo reports can be scheduled, but we are adding more reports to the list with almost every release.

How many reports can I schedule?

Only one report can be selected when configuring a Scheduled Report, and you can create twice as many Scheduled Reports as you have active users. So if you are running Meevo with 20 active users, you can create up to 40 Scheduled Reports.

How long do scheduled reports remain available?

Scheduled reports remain accessible for three months after they are generated. After that, they expire and are longer available.

Do I need to enable certain notifications in order to deliver scheduled reports?

To send Report Scheduler links in email and text messages, you'll need to enable Text and Email Notifications in Notification Settings.

When are reports delivered?

Reports are delivered as soon as they are generated. Report Scheduler is not affected by Meevo Blackout Times.

Can I send the report to anyone?

Yes! You can send reports to any of your Meevo employees/users, as well as any custom email addresses or mobile numbers entered while scheduling the report.

Report Scheduler bypasses Meevo security, so employees/users who normally don't have access to a report (or who have access to view only their own data) will be able to see the report and all employee data if the report is sent to them through Report Scheduler.

When and how are reports delivered?

Reports are generated based on the schedule and one-hour time range selected during setup. Reports are delivered as links via email, text message, or both. Links to the report are delivered shortly after the report is finished generating. The report itself can be secured with a unique, one-time system-generated PIN. Generated reports are hosted in the cloud, and recipients are sent links to the reports via email or text message notifications.

Note: If a Daily report is not accessed for 2 weeks, a Weekly report is not accessed for 4 weeks, or a Monthly report is not accessed for 3 months, the scheduled report is deactivated and its generated reports become inaccessible.

How does the one-time PIN work?

When security is enabled for a scheduled report, the recipients will be unable to access the report until they each enter a unique, one-time alphanumeric PIN. When the recipient selects the report link in the text message or email, the recipient is brought to the Enter your verification code page. At the same time, the PIN is randomly and automatically generated and sent to the recipient via the same method (for example, if the recipient selects the link in a text message, the recipient will receive the PIN number via text a short time later). Recipients will follow this process each time they want to view a secured report.

Note: Generated PINs are valid for 5 minutes after they are created.

What happens if a scheduled report fails to generate?

If a scheduled report fails to generate for any reason, the scheduled report is inactivated and a notification is sent to all recipients.
