Totals at the top of the page

  • Active Members as of [Start Date]: The number of Active members, including Frozen and In Cancellation memberships, at the start of the date range.
  • Active Members as of [End Date]: The number of Active members, including Frozen and In Cancellation memberships, at the end of the date range.
  • Members Net Gain / Loss: (Membership Conversions - Terminations - Expirations)

The percentage is calculated as: (Members Net Gain Loss / Members as of [Start Date]) x 100

Membership Sales

  • Conversion Opportunities: Clients who purchased at least one service in the date range who do not have a membership that is Active, Frozen, In Cancellation, or scheduled to be active in the future. Clients can count only once per day.
    • A client who purchases a membership in the same transaction as a non-service item (retail, gift card, etc.) counts as a Conversion Opportunity.
    • If the only service that was sold to the client was a Cancellation or No Show Fee, the client is not a Conversion Opportunity.
    • A client who already has a membership (active or scheduled to be active in the future) is not a Conversion Opportunity.
    • A client who redeems an accrued service from a previously canceled or expired membership is not a Conversion Opportunity.
    • Transient clients are counted only if they purchase a membership. Otherwise, they are not considered a Conversion Opportunity.
    • Clients who are sold a non-counting membership, or client profiles tied to employee profiles, are not considered Conversion Opportunities.
  • Membership Conversions: A client is considered a "Membership Conversion" if they buy a membership in the same date range that they purchased a service. This metric is broken down into Recurring Memberships, PIF Memberships, and Sold w/ Auto-Renew.
    • Conversions look at the sale date, not the date of membership activation.
    • Voids and non-counting memberships never count towards conversions.
    • Refunded memberships do still count towards conversions.
    • If a client purchases, terminates, and purchases another membership all in the same day, this still only counts as one opportunity and one conversion. The terminated membership will appear in that section.
  • Non-Counting Memberships Sold: Memberships sold that are configured as non-counting.

Membership Cancellations

  • Memberships Entered into Cancellation: The number of memberships whose status changed to In Cancellation during the date range. Immediately cancelled memberships appear here and in the termination section.

Membership Terminations

  • Same Day Terminations: Number of memberships that were purchased and terminated in the same day in the date range. These memberships do not also count in Termination within 3 Days.
  • Termination within 3 days: Number of memberships that were purchased in the date range and then terminated within 3 days of the purchase date.
  • All Other Terminations: Number of memberships that were terminated in the date range greater than 3 days after the purchase date.
  • Memberships Terminated in Date Range: Total number of memberships terminated in the date range. The percentage is calculated as (Memberships Terminated in Date Range / Member as of [Start Date]) x 100

Memberships Expired

  • Memberships Expired in Date Range: The number of memberships that expired during the date range. This metric does not count auto-renewing memberships as expired.

Running the report

  1. When you are ready to generate the report, select a Report Format beside the Run Report button.
  2. Here is a rundown of each format type:
    1. PDF: Each time you select Run Report with PDF selected, Meevo opens a separate browser tab that displays the PDF'ed report. Meevo remains on the setup page, so you can quickly jump back over to Meevo to run more date ranges or other reports. Each PDF report you run will open its own browser tab, so you can easily review and compare reports by simply jumping between browser tabs.
    2. HTML: This is our original legacy format, which opens the report within Meevo. All of the functionality within that report is still there and available via the toolbar.
    3. XLSX: Each time you select Run Report, your browser auto-downloads the report in .xlsx format. Select the downloaded file in the browser footer to open the spreadsheet.
  3. Select Run Report to generate the report in your chosen format. Depending on the type of report and criteria you entered, this process may take a few minutes.
