The latest Meevo Online Booking experience introduces an updated booking workflow designed to improve usability, security, and flexibility for both businesses and clients.

Online Booking modernizes the client journey while supporting important core functionality available in the Legacy Online Booking experience.

Feature List

  • Sign in with Meevo account or one-time SMS code: Offer flexible authentication options by allowing clients to sign in using their existing Meevo login credentials or a secure one-time SMS passcode.
  • Sign in with Facebook or Google account: Simplify access with social sign-in options, enabling clients to quickly authenticate using their Facebook or Google accounts.
  • Phone number verification via OTP: One-time passcode (OTP) verification helps confirm client identity and improve booking security by validating phone numbers during the booking process.
  • Location search and selection: For multi-location businesses, clients can begin their booking experience by searching for and selecting their preferred location, ensuring accurate availability and service options from the start.
  • Booking for one client or group booking: Clients can book one or multiple services for themselves, or schedule appointments for a group in a single, streamlined flow. 
  • Display service subcategories in your Service List: The Display Sub-categories option displays collapsed service sub-category drop-downs under the service category, making viewing and locating services easier and more intuitive. There must be at least 2 service sub-categories with OB-available services for this to take effect.
  • Require a service be completed before client can book another: We’ve introduced Service Prerequisites, allowing businesses to require clients to complete or book a specific service before scheduling another. This helps ensure clients meet necessary conditions—such as consultations or prep services—before booking more advanced treatments.
  • Easily book add-ons: Present relevant add-on services within the booking flow, allowing clients to seamlessly upgrade their appointment and helping increase average ticket value. 
  • Require login to view availability: Control when clients can view appointment availability by requiring them to sign in before accessing the schedule, helping ensure more accurate bookings and preventing anonymous browsing. 
  • Service image display: Services can include images to help clients quickly identify and select the treatments they’re looking for. 
  • Employee preference: Clients can indicate a provider preference, selecting a specific employee or requesting a preferred gender. For multi-service appointments, preferences can be applied to the entire booking or customized per service. 
  • Deposit collection: Collect deposits during the booking process to secure appointments and reduce no-shows. Deposit requirements are clearly displayed to clients before confirmation. 
  • Rebook a past appointment: Clients can quickly rebook a previous visit, making it easier to maintain recurring services and repeat their favorite services with just a few clicks. 
  • Join a waitlist for a preferred time: If a desired time slot isn’t available, clients can join a waitlist and be notified if an opening becomes available, helping capture additional booking opportunities. 
  • Appointment Notes: Clients can add notes during booking to share important details or requests, helping your team prepare in advance. 
  • Announcements: Display important messages directly within the booking flow such as policies, seasonal updates, or special notices, ensuring clients see critical information before completing their appointment. 
  • Customize SMS opt-in language: Two new settings, Allow client to opt-in for text notifications and Allow client to opt-in for text marketing, give your business more control over SMS consent during booking. When enabled, the corresponding "opt-in" checkbox will be available on the Guest Details page in Online Booking, allowing clients to opt in our out. Below each setting is a text field where you can tailor the opt-in text to align with business needs.
