About Membership Types

A Membership Type is a required category used in a membership definition. Most membership reports group data by Membership Type, so they should be applied consistently across similar memberships for easier analysis. The Membership Type also determines the color of the membership ribbon displayed on appointments.

What does a Membership Type look like in the Appointment Book?

The Membership Type ribbon appears in the upper-right corner of the appointment. In the example below, the ribbon is set to a shade of blue.
