Price Management  

Price Management is an easy way to bulk update the prices of products and services. Once applied, price updates are reflected in the product or service definitions. You can update individual items, such as a single service or product, or mass update all items in a customized list. Updates can be applied immediately or scheduled for the future.

Updating service prices immediately

To apply service filters

  1. Type pricemanagement into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Price Management and select the Services tab.
  2. Use the filters to narrow down your service list. You can search by Service Category or Sub-Category
  3. Select Apply to view a list of services that fit the criteria.

To apply a mass update to services

  1. Use the controls above the product list to configure the update:
    1. Set: Applies a specific price all selected services. You can apply the change to All price levels or a specific price level. Use this to apply the same price to many services at once.
    2. Increase / Decrease: Increases or decreases the price by an amount or a percent. 
    3. rounded to: Rounds price changes to the nearest $0.50 or $1.00 so that services don't end up with "random" prices. This field appears for Increase and Decrease only. 
  2. Select Preview Mass Update to see your changes reflected in the list. This exposes the Apply Mass Update along the bottom of the screen.
  3. When ready, select Apply Mass Update to apply your price updates. Service prices are immediately updated in the service definitions.  

To update individual service price levels

Update individual services by making changes within the list. 

  1. Select Edit.
  2. Make your changes within each desired service card.
  3. When finished, select Save. A prompt lets you know that this change cannot be undone. Select Yes to immediately update service prices in service definitions.  

Updating product prices immediately

To use product filters

  1. Type pricemanagement into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Price Management and select the Products tab.
  2. Use the filters to narrow down your product search. You can search by product Manufacturer, Distributor, or Product Category/Sub-Category. You can also Include discontinued products in the list.
  3. Select Apply to view a list of products that fit the criteria.

To apply a mass update

  1. Use the controls above the product list to configure the update:
    1. Set: Applies a specific price or markup % to all selected products (WholesaleRetail, or Markup %). Use this to apply the same price or markup % to many products at once.
    2. Increase / Decrease: Increases or decreases the Wholesale or Retail prices by an amount or a percent. 
    3. rounded to: Rounds price changes to the nearest $0.50 or $1.00 so that products don't end up with "random" prices. This field appears for Increase and Decrease only. 
  2. Select Preview Mass Update to see your changes reflected in the list. This exposes the Apply Mass Update along the bottom of the screen.
  3. When ready, select Apply Mass Update to apply your price updates. Product prices are immediately updated in the product definitions.  

To update individual products

Update individual products by making changes within the list of products. 

  1. Select Edit.
  2. Make your changes within each desired product card.
  3. When finished, select Save. A prompt lets you know that this change cannot be undone. Select Yes to immediately update product  definitions.  

Scheduling price changes

Price changes can be scheduled for tomorrow or later, and you can have only one scheduled update per entity. 

To schedule a price change

Schedule a price change if you want to update product or service pricing on a future date.

  1. Type pricemanagement into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Price Management.
  2. Select the Schedule price change tab.
  3. Select Schedule New Price Change at the top of the form.
  4. Select Products or Services.

  5. Follow the instructions above to filter the list and make your price changes.
  6. After making your edits, set a date that the scheduled change will take effect via the Active on field. The earliest you can set this date to is tomorrow.

  7. Select Save.

To view, edit, or delete a scheduled price change

  1. Type pricemanagement into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Price Management.
  2. Select the Schedule price change tab.
  3. The list displays scheduled price changes that have not yet been executed. You can edit or delete the scheduled update by selecting the Edit or Delete icons to the right of the row.

Viewing Price Management history

  1. Type pricemanagement into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Management > Price Management.
  2. Select the History tab.
  3. Specify a Date Range to reveal all Price Management updates during that time frame.
