How do I enable the SalonClouds+ integration?

The SalonClouds+ integration does not need to be turned on or off. When the tile becomes available in Meevo after purchase, the integration is considered on and available, so clients using the SalonConnect app can select your business from the location selector. If you no longer wish to use the integration, you can remove it via the MeevoXchange.

What components make up the SalonClouds+ integration?

The Meevo ‒ SalonClouds+ integration allows your business's clients to use the SalonConnect mobile app to book appointments online. The integration consists of the Salon Connect tile in Meevo, which launches a setup page for the client-facing SalonConnect app, and the SalonConnect app, which is a free download available to clients via the Google Play and Apple iTunes stores.

Do I need an account with SalonClouds+ to use this integration?

No. To use SalonClouds+ with Meevo, all you have to do is purchase the integration from the MeevoXchange. When you purchase the integration, Millennium Systems International provides SalonClouds+ with some relevant information about your business (business name, number, tenant ID, etc.). That information is how the SalonConnect app knows which businesses should appear to clients in the app.

Note: To take advantage of the client-facing SalonConnect app and all of its features, your clients will need to set up their own account through the SalonConnect app.

How does the SalonConnect app integrate with Meevo?

The SalonConnect app integrates with Meevo in the following ways:

  • Client profiles: When clients create a SalonConnect account for the first time, they enter their name and email address. Meevo checks the clients at the location to see if that email address is being used in a client profile. If it is not being used (the email address is unique to the business), Meevo creates the client profile according to the information provided in the app. If the email address already exists, Meevo does not take any action on the client's profile information.
  • Appointments: When clients book appointments from SalonConnect, the appointment will immediately appear in the Meevo Appointment Book.
  • 5 Star Reviews: You can publish or unpublish 5 Star Reviews to the SalonConnect app manually through the Ratings Control Panel, or automatically using the Business Information setting Client ratings that should be automatically published. Clients can view reviews via the Reviews icon.
  • Confirmations: If "push notifications" are enabled in the app and on the mobile device, confirmations will appear in the SalonConnect app, where a client can confirm the appointment or request to reschedule it.
