Selecting Service Notification Template Overrides

What is a service notification template override?

A service notification template override is a custom message that gets sent out for that service only, allowing you to customize the content of the notification based on the service. To be selectable, a service notification custom templates must have Client selected as the User Type.

Which notification types allow for a service template override?

Service template overrides are available for immediate client notifications only, and can be applied to the following events in the Services > Notifications screen:

  • Appointment Created
  • Appointment Changed
  • Appointment Cancelled

To select a service notification template override

Note: A service notification template can be selected as a override as long as it is not currently the default selection for a notification type.

  1. Ensure that Allow service notification template overrides is enabled in Business Settings > Notification Settings Main.
  2. Create your notification templates.
  3. Type service into the Convobar, or go to Meevo > Data > Services.
  4. Locate and select the service.
  5. Select the Notifications tab and select Edit.
  6. Select a template for each desired notification type.
  7. Select BCC email to send blind-copy emails to the BCC email address configured in Business Settings > Notification Settings.
  8. When finished, select Save.
